PERSONAL CEREMONIES. CLEAR GUIDANCE.

A Personal Ceremony With a Professional Process

Ever After Vows serves couples throughout Bucks County for everything from simple marriage-license signings and intimate elopements to full wedding ceremonies shaped around their story. Our completed Bucks County work includes ceremonies in Newtown and Langhorne, with experience in settings ranging from formal gardens to an outdoor park ceremony.

Some couples know exactly what they want when they reach out. Others only know that they do not want a ceremony that feels generic, stiff, or disconnected from who they are. Either way, I provide clear guidance, thoughtful preparation, and a calm presence from our first conversation through the moment you are pronounced married.

Your ceremony should feel personal. The process should feel easy.

GETTING MARRIED IN BUCKS COUNTY

A Few Things to Know Before the Ceremony

Bucks County allows couples to complete the marriage-license application online. After submitting it, both applicants must appear together in a virtual meeting to provide identification and sign the license. Plan ahead for Pennsylvania’s three-day waiting period, and check the county’s current instructions before applying.

01

Complete the Online Application & Virtual Meeting

Complete the Bucks County marriage-license application online. Afterward, both applicants must appear together in a virtual meeting to provide identification and sign the license.

02

Allow for the Three-Day Wait

Apply at least three days before your ceremony. The license is valid for 60 days starting with the issue date shown on the license.

03

Use It Anywhere in Pennsylvania

A Bucks County marriage license may be used for a ceremony anywhere in Pennsylvania. Likewise, a Pennsylvania license issued by another county may be used for a ceremony in Bucks County.

04

Complete and Return the Paperwork

For a standard officiant-led marriage, I review and complete the marriage certificate and return the required document to the issuing county after the ceremony. Pennsylvania requires the duplicate certificate to be returned within 10 days.

Getting married in Bucks County does not mean your marriage record is held there if another Pennsylvania county issued the license. See our Pennsylvania Name-Change Guide for obtaining the appropriate certified record and planning optional updates.
